Sun International with Yasu Naka founded the R5 Turbo Club and organized it into a very successful member participation group for the support of the Renault R5 Turbo. For 6 years the Club published newsletters, sponsored track events, organized social / enthusiast events such as Monterey Historic races and provided assistance of all sorts for the vehicles, owners and enthusiasts. Nearly 100% of all of the R5 Turbos in the USA were represented within this entusiasts' club as well as non-R5 Turbo owners and many members outside of the USA.

Sun International has continued an informal connection with R5 Turbo world wide. Including some servicing, repair, parts and vehicle sales. We have an extensive archive of material dealing with these cars and still daily receive calls for assistance with service, spares, vehicle sales and information.

This internet site now serves as the resource point for all topics regarding the R5 Turbo. Plans are to include a parts exchange service, vehicle sales announcements, technical information and any other related topics that visitors would submit.

Let's see how it goes and perhaps as in the past the owners will become involved in their own support group.
