The size, weight and power of the Honda 1.8 liter VTEC engine w/ Honda gear box and limited slip are a natural for installation into the Elise. Total weight and weight distribution are at Elise weight distribution. 

The Honda powertrain:

• standard power at the rear wheels is around 200 hp, w/ smooth constant increase to 9,000 rpm
• power can be increased to almost 300 hp
• meets exhaust emission standards everywhere,
• provides nearly 30 mpg (US) EPA city driving cycle  
• can be easily and inexpensively serviced anywhere in the world
• is infinitely more durable than the Rover K.

Our conversion can be done w/ new or used Honda 1.8 liter powertrain, into new or used Elise. There are no complicated modification or new assemblies needed. The installation can be done at our facility in Los Angeles. Or, we can provide technicians to convert Elise anywhere in the world. Or, the conversion can be done by the owner at home. And, several Elise specialist companies outside the US have expressed interest in becoming dealers for our conversion Kit and providing the conversion service.
