- FOR SALE 1967 Fiat Dino Spider
This car is complete and original. The car was running and driven prior to being completely disassembled for restoration. The paint color at that time was red.
Body and Paint:
All of the paint was stripped to bare metal. All metal was repaired with metal. No bondo. The aluminum trunk lid was carefully worked over for exactly the correct lines and fit. Special attention to wheel well flares so that they are original with clear lines. No "bondo." Photos were taken before, during and after. Front nose section is new. Any rusted or damaged sections were replaced with new metal. e.g. rocker panel area behind front wheels, underneath rear seats.
Engine compartment stripped, prepared and repainted. Trunk prepared and repainted.
The car is repainted in an improved version of the original blue color.
Total cost to restore and repaint the body $12,000.00 by Dennis Ercek / Ricky Rodrigues / Andy Palmer.
Interior:
The top of the dash is cracked. the door panels, The carpet needs to be replaced.
Engine:
Engine had been represented as rebuilt 5,000 miles, by well known L.A. Ferrari workshop. However, it is now
completely disassembled for total inspection, nothing hidden, ready for rebuild. Carburetors have been newly rebuilt, still unused, linkage and parts are cad plated.
Bottom end is okay. Short block okay.
New parts:
6 Koni shocks, new trunk hinges, front grill, 6 front cowl vent grills, ignition: cap rotor, points, wires, brake rebuild kits misc. cad. plating
Extras:
hard top, ZF 5 speed transmission (2.4 liter); complete set of Weber carbs and manifold from 2.4 liter Dino engine. These carburetors have been rebuilt and misc. parts cad plated.
