The Ferrari Berlinetta Boxer (365 & 512) was not officially commercialized in the USA by Ferrari. Ferrari was either unable or chose not to certify this model for the USA EPA and DOT standards. Although, considering the limited production of the Berlinetta Boxer there was no business reason to be concerned with the American market. This car was sold new, imported and US Certified (EPA, DOT, CARB) by Sun International Racing. Sun International was the best for providing these cars and making it possible to import them and register them for the USA & California. Sun International with a team of aero space engineers, fabricators and enthusiasts who managed to provide these cars and certify them for the USA without permanently modifying them from their original form.
