Typically with engine swap / conversion creates a mismatch for the clutch master cylinder and the slave cylinder. However, that's okay and good because they don't mate so well in the original combination. In this case, solving the cylinder mismatch provides an opportunity to precisely adjust the clutch pedal just like a real race car.

The Kit includes hardware to adapt the original clutch line to the Honda clutch slave cylinder. Most versions Elise S1 and, all S2 Elise have braided steel clutch line. All earlier version Elise with plastic clutch fluid lines should be replaced with the braided steel type.
The Elise clutch pedal / master cylinder provides too much fluid to the Honda slave cylinder such that the clutch pressure plate is pushed passed center and re-engages the clutch. The solution is to limit the pedal travel and at the same time provide the precise travel for releasing and engaging the clutch.
